Summer 2010

Right now I feel great about how my summer is going. This is going to be my last year in the Upward Bound summer program. Its true when they say that years go by fast, indeed they do. I still remember my first year in the summer program I was really home sick and was always thinking about going home. Now I'm happy that its my last year but I know I'm really going to miss it. This program has helped me a lot in many ways. I've gain so much knowledge about education and striving for my goals. I've meet new people that became friends and now I see them as a family. I remember looking at the seniors each year and thinking how lucky they were to have privileges. Now here I am as a senior. This is summer I believe will be the best summer of them all. We will make many memories and later look back at them and reminisce on the good times. I guess this is just the beginning of feeling like a senior. There is more to come this upcoming year.
