End of Upward Bound 2010

Blogging has been introduced to me last summer by Mrs. Breens. Being able to blog is like expressing your feelings on paper but instead you type them. I really like to blog because its much more easier to get my thoughts through typing than writing. A fun thing to do is personalize your blog. You can get many backgrounds and fonts that apply to you. That's my favorite part about blogging. I also liked to add a picture to my blog. This way my reader could understand and also relate to the blog. What I disliked about blogging is that sometimes I felt rushed to hurry up and just type. I see blogging as writing in your personal diary. You don't rush your thoughts, everything takes time. Other than that I have loved to blog its a real good experience.
July 20, 2010 is the day when my summer will officially begin. I just can't wait to hangout with my close friends Marce, Pilar, Anisa, Prek, Chucky, Katie, and of course my love Chapo. I really miss all of them. I haven't seen most of them in two weeks. My bestfriend Pilar I haven't seen her in almost a month. I want to able to go spend some time at the beach in Grand Haven, Mi. We went there at the end of May but the water wasn't warm enough at that time to get in. My summer pretty much is going to be laid back. Hangout with my friends and my family. I really miss my family too. My little brother is finally moving out of my parents room. There just waiting for me to come back so we can all paint his new room blue. Its going to be my senior year at Union High School, I just can't believe how fast high school went by. This year is going to be busy which is going to make the school year go by real fast. I have enjoyed every single year in high school. I have learned a lot and I feel proud of myself. I don't see high school as the end of something but as the beginning of my career. I just can't wait to fulfill all my dreams and goals. Next summer I will be going to orientation here at Grand Valley State University time will go by fast I know it.

Second to Last Post

My Favorite sweet candy is sour patch kids. I like them because their fun to eat,their sweet and simply because I love candy.

In the picture is my friend Prek and me. His real name is Oscar but we never call him that. It actually sounds weird saying that's his name. Prek is a real cool person. I barely met him last year but I have become real close to him. He can be quiet and shy sometimes but once you get him talking you can see he is outgoing and fun. This picture was on the day of his graduation. I can't believe how fast the school year went by. When all the seniors left it was so boring and quiet at school. Prek is Chapos cousin, last summer Prek in a way got Chapo and me to know each other. It was real fun summer last year. Through out this year I have got to know Prek and Chapo's family. They are real nice and fun to be around. I love the fact that their so united and well what can I say they make me feel welcome and like I'm also part of the family.

Tired..

Today is not really a good day. I stayed up last night until 2:30am. I only got about 4hrs of sleep. I just can't wait for the day to be over I want to go to sleep. I actually hope this week goes by fast. I'm sick of doing all this work for all these classes. I feel like the teachers go to far sometimes and over flow us with work. For once I want to be able to go to the dorms after study table and just go to sleep, but I know that's not realistic. I'm actually looking forward to this weekend. I don't get to go home, but I stay here with the Upward Bound Seniors. I think its going to be so much. This is the last weekend of the program. After the weekend we just have two more days. After the ceremony my summer will officially start. Even thought its only one month. This year is going to go super fast. Its my senior year in high school. Being in high school went real fast too. I just can't believe it. This will also be a very busy school year. I have many things to think of doing. I want to order my class ring this school year so I'm able to wear it during the school year. I also need to look for a photographer to take my senior pictures. I saw a lot of my friends to do this last year. I never thought it would go so fast and now its me thinking of this.

Going Home Today : )

This week went by real fast for me. Overall the summer has been going fast were almost in the middle of July. I'm really looking forward to seeing my mom. The last time I saw her was Sunday night. I really miss her, I didn't even have a chance to talk to her on my birthday because of her two jobs. Luckily I'm already older and I understand the situation. If this would of happened 10years ago I would of been real bummed. The of my birthday Chapo, Marce, Denise, Julio, Prek, Chucky, and Katie came and visited me there my close friends. They brought me a cake which was really good, my favorite. I was real happy they came it showed to me that they really care about me. We were all at Kirkhof just hanging out. The present Chapo gave me was a build a bear dressed in the Fifa World Cup Uniform. Its really cute, it really reminds me of Chapo because he loves soccer. On the birth certificate of my bear his name is Chapo jr. What makes the bear special to me is that he actually made everything himself. My best friend Marce, and my sister Denise went with Chapo to the mall in a long search in what to buy me. They finally found an ideal present. I had always wanted a built a bear.

Today is my birthday, I don't know I feel like its any other day. Later in the afternoon my boyfriend, friends, and siblings are going to come see me. I'm glad their coming. Yesterday during free time I was bored out of my mind. It was so hot in the dorms I just didn't feel like taking a nap. I really do feel like the years go by fast I can't believe I'm already 17. Well its life, and its always moving forward. I wish my mom could of came to see me. She works two jobs so she's not able to. I never have a chance to talk to with her either. At four in the afternoon she gets out of her first job and enters into the second. She doesn't get out until 11:30 at night by that time I'm already sleeping. I really miss my mom, I just cant wait to go home this weekend.

Marce

Marce is one of best friends. I've known her since middle school but never really talked, we just said Hi in the hallways or whenever we saw each other. We started talking more towards the end of freshman year. We both had different group of friends but we always were at the same place. When I began to go out was the end of sophomore year. If someone invited me to a party I always asked if Marce was going. "If Marce goes I'll go or else I'm not going." This is what I would tell them on the phone whenever they invited me someone where. She would say the same thing. I don't know why but with Marce I felt safe. From there it started Marce, Anisa, and me become close friends. When Anisa knew of any quinceaneras or parties she would tell us and we would all go out together. Pilar was also one of the girls who went out with us. Every weekend it was the same routine, go out and have fun. We all bonded real well. Anisa is the more crazy real laid back person who just wants to have fun. Pilar is the mom of the group, she is always concerned about something and just thinking of consequences. Marce is also somewhat of the mom, but not as much as Pilar. If she approves that its a good idea she will have fun with it. I'm like Marce and Pilar too but sometimes I get more persuade by Anisa and convince the two other grandmas to join in. We all have so much fun together.

Wednesday...

Today is Wednesday already I can't believe how fast the days go by. Wednesday nights for me are hectic. We have quizzes in most of our class. Not only do we have to sit and study many key terms but we also get homework. I like to sleep early the day before a test, but here I'm up at night studying. Last week I really didn't study my hardest because I was just too tired. On my test grade you saw the difference from the previous week. I'm planning to just use my free time and study table to do homework and study. I'm just glad were going home. Thursday will also go by fast, especially since were going swimming I'm looking forward to that.
